Line 6 of the Ho Chi Minh City Metro is the proposed inner ring line.
Route: Phú Hữu – Bình Triệu – Bà Quẹo – Phú Lâm Junction – Bình Hưng – Phú Hữu
Length: 53.8 km
Stations: 43
The first phase of construction will be the section from Ba Queo station to Phu Huu station. This section is about 22.9km long with 17 stations (13 underground stations and 4 elevated stations).
Ba Queo station will interchange with Line 2, and Phu Huu station will interchange with the Thu Thiem – Long Thanh Line.
The Ba Queo-Phu Huu section is expected to start construction by the end of 2026 and be completed by 2030.

The old map by MAUR shows the previous alignment, which is the western side of the ring. The original plan was a 6.8 km underground line with 7 stations along the alignment: Ba Queo – Au Co – Luy Ban Bich – Tan Hoa Dong – Phu Lam Roundabout.
