Official and unofficial maps of the future HCMC Metro.
HCMC Metro system map shown at stations
A future map of the HCMC Metro is displayed at the stations. The map shows Line 1 (blue) with the future lines greyed out. I have not been able to find this online yet, so I only have these photos from the station. The maps are behind glass, so excuse the image quality. I am still looking for the original source of the map

The ticketing areas show an elongated version of the map. This map appears to be inspired by Japanese metro maps.
The maps have a key with the future lines and their proposed colour schemes
I have heard reports that visitors to the city who are unfamiliar with the metro project think that the other lines exist. It is an unusual site to see a future metro map shown at stations when the lines are not even under construction.
Masterplan Map
Official masterplan maps from the Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR).

Independent Maps
The map on Wikipedia shows the future lines but it doesn’t have the station names.

I made a map of the HCMC Metro at Nomadic Notes.

Note that the Wikipedia and Nomadic Notes maps are already out of date as there are some other line proposals and extensions that haven’t been represented on the official masterplan map.
Concept Maps
I made a Ho Chi Minh City Metro Concept Map (if Saigon had a subway like Shanghai). These are extra lines that I added to the current proposed lines.
